Dropkick Murphys brought their 2026 "St. Patrick's Day Tour" to the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, on Friday, February 13th, playing a career-spanning 23-song set. The veteran Massachusetts band has been making headlines for protesting ICE and denouncing the Trump administration in recent months and years, but, for the most part, the 90-minute show was a punk-rock celebration.
Platner crowd-surfed to the stage as Dropkick launched into "Bury the Bones" from their latest album, For the People. Once he got to the stage, he joined frontman Ken Casey in singing the song, offering a passionate delivery of the chorus: "Hey, look on the bright side, you can't get blood from a stone/ And we're on the right side of the ground where they bury the bones."
The Patriots announced on Wednesday afternoon that the team will hold a Super Bowl LX send-off rally on Sunday morning at Gillette Stadium. Gates for the event will open at 9 a.m., with the rally beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sunday's rally will include a musical performance by the Dropkick Murphys, along with appearances from Patriots cheerleaders and various Patriots alumni.
The band teased the tour when announcing the March residency, and now the Celtic punk vets have unveiled the full itinerary, which kicks off February 9th in Portland, Maine, and culminates with the previously announced five Boston concerts. The Aggrolites and Haywire will support most dates, with the latter act also on the bill for the Boston shows at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Dropkick Murphys are celebrating their 30th birthday in 2026 with their annual St. Patrick's Day residency in Boston. The punk vets just unveiled next year's dates, including shows at BMGM Music Hall at Fenway on March 13th, 14th, and 15th, plus a gig at Citizens House of Blues on March 17th, with support acts yet to be announced. Dropkick Murphys will also be hosting a family-friendly afternoon mini-concert (with meet and greet) on the 14th at MGM Music Hall.
