Haywire share Dropkick Murphys collab "Citizen ICE," tease something with Nothing, touring with Poison The Well
"Come celebrate dictatorships and bolster the regimeWhile abusing helpless immigrants, a bully's wet dreamYou've joined the traitor's ranks to play the hand of GodIn a scumbag grifters kidnapping squad Now they've poorly trained an army for our kids to fear todayThe gave 'em masks and weapons and sent them on their wayThey're knee-deep in proud boys, yeah, thе party never stopsToo scared to join thе military, too dumb to be a cop"
"Meanwhile, Dropkick Murphys aren't the only band Haywire are collaborating with these days. They just posted a photo from Taylor Young's studio The Pit with heavy shoegazers Nothing and captioned it "something with Nothing." That's all we know for now, but Nothing are great collaborators too and that's a very exciting prospect. Nothing will be busy with their own new album, tour, and festivals this year too."
Boston hardcore/Oi! band Haywire released the collaborative Dropkick Murphys / Haywire song "Citizen I.C.E.", a reworking of Dropkick Murphys' 2005 song "Citizen C.I.A.", which has been digitally released. Haywire will begin a tour with Dropkick Murphys and will sell a tour-only vinyl split LP New England Forever at the shows that includes the collaborative track. Haywire posted a studio photo suggesting a collaboration with shoegazers Nothing. Haywire will support Poison The Well on a short Australia tour in June, following Poison The Well's North American tour with Converge.
