Bayern have recently discussed Raphaël Guerreiro's future but have yet to make a final decision. Although January would be the last chance to get a fee for him, Bayern are not prioritizing a sale in Guerreiro's case. The opinion is that having him as a squad player until the end of the season is more valuable.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he said. "I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation. Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else."
"Serge is an extremely important player for us right now. He's having exceptional games centrally, where he can showcase his cleverness even more. I'll try to see behind closed doors how and when we'll have talks."
