The first full commuting day of NJ Transit's reduced service to put a new Portal North Bridge track in service was a scene of controlled chaos in the Hoboken Terminal Tuesday morning. Trains have been unable to run on a key section of the Northern line due to a fire alert at Euston station. Transport for London warned that there was no service between Camden Town and Charing Cross heading southbound at around 7am on Friday morning, impacting thousands of commuters trying to get into the city centre.
