GO train service still impacted, no updates on when repairs will be finished: Metrolinx | CBC News
"GO transit commuters are being urged to plan ahead for the morning commute due to a modified train schedule, following a derailment at Union Station on Monday and days of rush hour delays, said Metrolinx. It's the fourth day of reduced service after a derailed train caused havoc on train schedules and delayed thousands of commuters. Trains will run on the following special schedule Thursday morning: Lakeshore East: 60-minute service, outside of 1530-minute peak service windows."
"Lakeshore West: 60-minute service, outside of 1530-minute peak service windows. UP Express: regular 15-minute interval service. Kitchener: 60-minute service, outside of 30-minute peak service windows. Milton: 30-minute service during peak service hours. Richmond Hill: 60-minute morning and afternoon peak service. Stouffville: 30-minute morning and afternoon peak service. Barrie: 30-minute morning and afternoon peak service. The transit agency said a schedule update for Thursday evening and Friday morning will come later in the day."
Commuters are urged to plan ahead for morning travel as GO Transit runs a modified schedule after a derailment at Union Station caused days of rush-hour disruptions. Multiple lines will operate reduced frequencies Thursday morning, with many services on 60-minute intervals outside peak windows and select lines running 30-minute or regular peak services. UP Express continues 15-minute intervals. Equipment issues in recent service have caused delays, offloading at Pickering, and some cancellations. A schedule update for Thursday evening and Friday morning will be released later, and no repair completion date has been provided.
