Authorities are investigating a possible homicide after one person was shot and killed Saturday morning in front of a home in Bay Point. Deputies responded to a shooting call just after 1 a.m. at a home on Harbor Drive. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities have not released their identity as the investigation is ongoing.

Oscar Medrano, a Bay Point resident, was convicted of four misdemeanors for sexually assaulting three women and a 15-year-old girl in December.
