Toronto police are investigating a suspected arson at an auto repair shop in Scarborough where several vehicles were damaged.
An AC Transit bus careened into an East Oakland auto repair shop on Tuesday, leaving at least nine people hospitalized with minor injuries. The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. as the bus was heading toward downtown Oakland on Foothill Boulevard near 68th Avenue, according to AC Transit spokesman Robert Lyles. A white SUV crossed in front of the bus at the intersection, causing the two vehicles to collide before the bus jumped a curb and slammed into All Bout Cars Auto Body & Repair, he said.
