Bernard Muir is resigning as Stanford's athletic director after 13 years, amid struggles in major sports and a changing landscape in college athletics.
"The expectation for our program is to compete for championships, and unfortunately, we have not done that in the last four years," Minnesota athletic director Mark Coyle said.
