DETROIT -- Riley Greene and Javier Báez homered in a four-run sixth inning and the Detroit Tigers kept their season alive with a 9-3 win over the Seattle Mariners in Game 4 of the American League Division Series. The Tigers forced a Game 5 by winning at Comerica Park for the first time in more than a month. They went 0-8 after Tarik Skubal's 6-0 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sept. 6, including Seattle's 8-4 win on Tuesday.

The Arizona Fall League will start, a showcase each autumn that allows some of baseball's best future talents to continue refining their tools. For the Braves, some of their top prospects and young talents will participate, including Nacho Alvarez. They will be a part of the Glendale Diamond Dogs.
After a blowout 10-1 win in Game 1 on Saturday, Bieber's wife, Kara Maxine, showed support for the team and husband by wearing a Blue Jays jersey with the All-Star pitcher's number for Game 2 at Rogers Centre. In one of her Instagram stories from the game on Sunday, Kara posed alongside other Blue Jays players' partners in coordinated dress. Fellow pitcher Kevin Gausman's wife Taylor stood next to Kara in a picture shared by her on Instagram.
The Tigers and Mariners get their AL Division Series underway tonight in Seattle, with rookie Troy Melton starting for Detroit against former All-Star George Kirby. Both teams will go with 14 position players and 12 pitchers on their 26-man rosters for the series.... Keith and Hanifee are newcomers to the playoff roster, replacing Paul Sewald and Justyn-Henry Malloy. Right ribcage inflammation has kept Keith from playing since September 18, and he wasn't quite ready to go for the Tigers' wild card series against the Guardians.
