Developers are planning to bring ABBA Voyage, the high-tech concert experience built around holographic versions of the Swedish pop group, to Hell's Kitchen. The project is one step closer to reality and, if all goes as planned, the show will open in 2028 inside a purpose-built venue on 11th Avenue between West 45th and 46th Streets.
The Abba Voyage show is set to head across the pond show after becoming a roaring success in the capital. The show has been in East London for the past three and a half years and is still selling out week after week. And now, thanks to the success of the concert, they will be taking the show stateside. Bosses want to take the digital concert's residency to New York, after talks for launching it in Las Vegas stalled.
