According to the Center for Countering Digital Hate, accurate notes correcting false claims about the U.S. elections were not displayed on 74% of misleading posts.
Notably, misleading posts received 13 times more views than their accompanying Community Notes, raising concerns about the effectiveness of the program.
Keith Coleman, VP at X, stated that thousands of notes have cleared the 'high bar' for being effective and trustworthy, citing their significant visibility.
CCDH's report questioned the adequacy of Community Notes in addressing the surge of misinformation, particularly regarding the narrative of a stolen election.
