Vila Ninho School, located in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais, aims to provide quality education to vulnerable children while fostering community development since 2017. The school occupies a 14,000m² area with a physical environment designed to support its educational goals. It emphasizes sustainability and flexibility in its architecture, employing a modular design for adaptability over time. The school encourages community participation in its construction, enhancing family engagement. Its focus on creating a welcoming environment enhances students' sensory experience, promoting well-being through natural light and energy-efficient materials as part of an ongoing expansion starting 2024.
The architectural proposal is based on a modular grid of 2x2 meters and construction modules of 36m², allowing flexibility and adaptation of spaces over time.
The design of the space takes into account the environmental comfort and sensory experience of the students, ensuring natural lighting and promoting well-being.
