Briefly

The renovation of the former Bell factory in Shanghai, aimed at creating a high-end office space, necessitated an overhaul not only of the interior but also of the building's facade. Given the competitive rental market in 2019 and the outdated urban surroundings, a visually striking redesign was essential. The design team decided on a silver aluminum panel curtain wall to modernize the building while still paying homage to its industrial roots. This approach increased the building's attractiveness and commercial viability, greatly pleasing the client and enhancing urban vibrancy.
The design team aimed to transform the old Bell factory into a high-end office by refreshing its appearance and enhancing its commercial value.
The proposed renovation approach includes a new facade, using silver aluminum panels that maintain the industrial essence while attracting attention and revitalizing the urban environment.
