The project reimagines a third-floor men's salon in Hiroshima, emphasizing exclusivity through a hidden location accessed by a narrow staircase. Drawing inspiration from music and the concept of digging for records, the space is designed to evoke intrigue and encourage repeat visits. Utilizing transparent acrylic panels styled like record sleeves, the design creates a minimalist yet striking aesthetic. Targeting fashion-conscious men rather than music experts, the salon aims to blend a sense of discovery with artistic influences, making each visit a captivating experience.
The project's design leverages the hidden nature of the men's salon, creating an exclusive atmosphere that invites fashion-forward individuals to discover and return.
Incorporating the concept of digging through records, the salon aims to evoke a sense of discovery and intrigue akin to exploring a unique record shop.
