The architects designed a new complex adjacent to a 60-year-old red-brick church, incorporating a residence, warehouse, and playground. Functionally independent, these spaces maintain essential connections. The building features a steel structure that contrasts with the brick church, highlighting both lightness and weight. Its unique appearance draws inspiration from traditional countryside houses, with double-sloping roofs and varied openings that enhance privacy while providing openness. This new construction aims to align with the architectural essence of the neighboring church, creating a cohesive and distinctive architectural narrative.
The overall system of the building is formed by an in-between space that is yet to be defined and corresponding to the central axis opening of the adjacent old church.
The intention is to avoid interference from different functions but retain certain connections with others, creating a cohesive architectural experience.
