Briefly

Architects are renovating a single-family home at the foot of Tibidabo in the Sarrià - Sant Gervasi district. The objective is to unify disparate volumes and improve the heavily compartmentalized layout that restricts natural light and ventilation. By creating flexible spaces and allowing for diverse uses, the design seeks to enhance the home's livability while preserving existing structural elements. This approach emphasizes a balance between modern adaptability and respect for the building's historical context.
The project focuses on transforming a compartmentalized single-family home in Sarrià - Sant Gervasi into a unified, flexible space that celebrates natural light.
Designers emphasized the need for better lighting and ventilation in the original space, which suffered from unsuitable dimensions and excessive compartmentalization.
