Casa Símera, designed by WORC, is a multifunctional retreat in Mexico City, merging a café, wellness space, and communal areas into a serene environment. It invites visitors through an entryway designed like a garden path, promoting a transition into tranquility. Inside, the café features alcoves with curved benches and tactile materials, creating a warm atmosphere. The heart of the structure is an atrium crowned with a skylight, surrounded by tiered platforms and vertical gardens, serving as a lively hub connecting different spaces while maintaining a consistent, thoughtfully curated material palette.
Throughout Casa Símera, the material palette by the design team at WORC remains consistent and deliberate. Clay flooring, stainless steel accents, smooth natural fabrics, and live plants work together to create balance.
Inside, the café is carved into a series of sculptural alcoves. Curved benches nest individual tables along the walls, while a marble service bar runs through the center.
