Our Grief Fits Us Like a Glove
Briefly

Grief is a lot of things. It's a process that comes in waves and cannot be controlled. It is incredibly personal and yet universal, affecting everyone differently.
Our grief fits us like a glove; it's personal and shaped by the individual we loved and lost. No two people grieve the same way.
When I got the call that my son Rob died, I felt a sense of relief along with intense emotional pain; I couldn't save him, which fueled my grief.
Simply put, our grief is shaped by the person we loved and lost, just as our love for them is unique to each relationship.
