The place is called Heung Fa Chun Sweet House, but this isn't a restaurant review. The point at hand here is that I spent a full year hankering after 油條 without knowing I could get some posthaste.
Doujiang, or fresh soy milk, tastes far more fragrant and less milk-like than the typical soy milk you'd find in an American grocery store. Hot and lightly sweetened, it's my ideal breakfast option.
