The project began when I was spinning fluff from Ollie, a Great Pyrenees, showing that dog hair can be a valuable fiber for skilled spinners.
Dog hair produces a yarn with a lovely halo of fuzz, making it highly desirable; it's comparable to more traditional fibers like mohair or angora.
