I had two kids and didn't know what an orgasm was': the Costa Rican film giving grandmothers a voice
Briefly

Antonia Sudasassi Furniss said, "Many older women got in touch to share their stories after The Awakening of the Ants. These formed the basis of my follow-up."
Furniss explained that "Even when I was growing up, sexuality was such a taboo. My grandmother had 12 pregnancies, and I wonder: did she want all those children?"
Discussing her film, Furniss remarked, "What shocked me the most was the amount of violence they had all experienced, illustrating the repression that women face in society."
