Assailants attacked a convoy of buses transporting oil workers on Friday in an area of eastern Syria where the terrorist group Islamic State has been active, killing at least 10 people, according to state media outlets and groups that monitor the ongoing conflict in the country.No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, which was in an area controlled by the Syrian government.
