A Lewisham handyman, Carl Cooper, murdered Naomi Hunte and Fiona Holm, women he was in relationships with, over 16 months.
Prosecutor Joel Smith described Cooper as a controlling and violent individual, a 'callous bully and a killer.'
Both victims had previously reported Cooper's abusive behavior to the police prior to their tragic deaths.
