Relax at Tilde, North Cambridge's New Cafe and Wine Bar
Briefly

Tilde is a new café and wine bar in North Cambridge that operates as a space for community gathering. Owners Max Stein and Katie O'Hara, friends from the coffee industry, emphasize the similarities between coffee and wine, highlighting the importance of local partnerships with producers. By day, Tilde serves specialty coffee and tea alongside fresh pastries, transitioning to a more focused experience on wine in the evening. The venue aims to create a relaxed atmosphere with future plans for breakfast offerings, encouraging patrons to savor their time rather than rush.
By day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., that means café beverages highlighting coffee from Broadsheet in Cambridge and tea from Broken Cup Teahouse (Cambridge)...
Coffee and wine are more similar than people realize, and we're trying to bring that together... to do that, you kind of have to ignore all the work that goes into it...
We think a diner breakfast is something everyone's been itching for around here...we want people to be able to sit down and enjoy, not feel so rushed.
With a focus on hyperlocal partnerships, Tilde owners Max Stein and Katie O'Hara aim to build a community-oriented space, with the throughlines between coffee and wine as the foundation.
