Climate change is coming for your wine, study warns

'About 90 per cent of traditional wine regions in coastal and lowland regions of Spain, Italy, Greece and southern California could be at risk of disappearing by the end of the century because of excessive drought and more frequent heatwaves with climate change.'
The impact on winegrowing will have a huge economic impact as well: grapes are the world's third most valuable horticultural crop, after potatoes and tomatoes, counting for a farm-gate value of US$68 billion (£53billion) in 2016.
