Children with obesity have more than double the risk of developing multiple sclerosis as adults.
Previous evidence has suggested a link between high body mass index (BMI) in adolescence and an increased risk of MS.
Despite the limited follow-up time, our findings highlight that obesity in childhood increases the susceptibility of early-onset MS.
