Google Merchant Center now allows merchants to specify their accepted payment methods, empowering them to correct inaccurately automated options previously handled by Google.
Emmanuel Flossie noted on LinkedIn, 'You can now specify what payment methods you accept in Google Merchant Center. Clearly the automated system was pretty bugged!'
Now, digital wallet and Buy Now, Pay Later options detected on merchant websites or added manually can be arranged by preference for visibility on Google Search.
Merchants lacking certain digital wallet or Buy Now, Pay Later options can submit feedback to Google requesting inclusion of their preferred payment methods.
