Yesterday a wild rumor claimed Samsung would give up on the S25+ and only launch the S25 and S25 Ultra. Mere hours later, however, this was refuted by another source which claims the company is in fact still developing three S25 models.
While this isn't the greatest 'proof' of something like this happening, not by a long shot, Samsung giving up on the plus model would actually make sense, since it's the least sold of its flagship trio.
