Our umbrella review shines a light on these devices' performance in tracking heart rate and other key parameters, revealing a broad range of accuracy that varies according to several external factors.
Wearable devices have become commonplace, with at least half of the individuals in any given room likely donning a fitness tracker or smartwatch. This proliferation reflects a cultural shift towards quantifying almost every aspect of our lives, emphasizing an ideology that if something isn’t logged, it essentially doesn’t count.
