Grandmother, 82 found buried in concrete under shed with her convicted child molester handyman eyed as suspect: cops
Briefly

An investigation into the disappearance of 82-year-old Marcia Norman revealed a grim fate when her body was found encased in concrete beneath a shed. This discovery occurred nine days after she was last seen dining with handyman Jeffrey Zizz, a convicted child molester. Family concerns about her abrupt disappearance led police to suspect foul play, especially as Zizz had quickly built the shed days before her body was unearthed. Despite being a person of interest, Zizz has yet to face charges, raising further questions about Norman's tragic end.
"We spoke to [Zizz] a couple of times over the days, just trying to understand the interactions with her, the relationship, how often he's known her, what he was doing at the house - that kind of stuff," Lieutenant Mike Brooks of the Thurston County Sheriff's Office said.
During the course of their investigation, cops found that Zizz built a ramshackle shed on Apr. 2, on an 'unrelated property' in Olympia, Wa. - under which Norman was later found after officials conducted a grizzly excavation.
Zizz, 47, has not been charged, but remains the primary person of interest in Norman's death, with police executing search warrants and seizing his pick-up truck.
The Tenino, Wa. woman was reported missing by her family on Apr. 4 after they had not heard from her since Apr. 1 - with cops calling the disappearance suspicious.
