"I feel like they've done a really good job as a group of five of really stepping up and taking the bull by the horns and producing offensively on the power play," Capitals Coach Spencer Carbery said. "Those numbers are incredible since the greatest power play player of all time has been out of the lineup."
"Obviously that's a big hole," center Pierre-Luc Dubois said. "It takes away a major option. That's not a secret to anybody anymore. But I think it's forced us to maybe get all five guys to think shot. ... When that happens, it's tough for penalty kills. They don't know who to key on."
