Briefly

The tragic case of three young sisters, Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker, centers on their suspected murder by their father, Travis Decker, during a scheduled visitation. The Wenatchee Police Department reported the girls' bodies were discovered near their father's truck shortly after he failed to return them home. Preliminary autopsy results point to asphyxiation as the cause of death, with indications of plastic bags and zip ties found at the crime scene. Decker faces serious charges including three counts of first-degree murder and is believed to have mental health issues according to their mother.
According to documents filed in the Chelan County Superior Court, each little girl was found with 'a plastic bag over the head.' Their wrists were also zip tied or showed signs of being zip tied.
Law enforcement officers searching the scene found 'zip ties and plastic bags strewn throughout the area' and around Decker's truck.
Whitney Decker believed her ex-husband, who was known to be homeless and stayed in local hotels, motels and campgrounds, was 'experiencing some mental health issues.'
The update about the girls' preliminary cause of death comes a day after the Wenatchee Police Department announced in a June 3 a press release that Travis Decker, 32, of the Wenatchee area was wanted in connection with the deaths of his three daughters.
