Warner Bros. Games announced that MultiVersus will be concluding with Season 5, which starts on February 4 and ends on May 30. Players will be able to access the game offline, but it will be removed from download platforms. All purchases within the game have been halted, and Season 5 will introduce two new characters. The game's journey has seen a rocky path since its open beta launch in July 2022, and interest has waned significantly despite early strong reception and subsequent updates.
