Former PlayStation Boss Played Company's First Game On Scrapped Nintendo Console
Briefly

In a recent interview, Shuhei Yoshida, who recently left Sony after 31 years, reminisced about his early days at the PlayStation team. On his first day in 1993, he had the rare opportunity to play a game developed for the ill-fated Nintendo PlayStation—a project intended to allow SNES games to utilize CD technology. Yoshida described the game as a 2.5D or 3D space shooter that showcased the CD's capabilities, though he couldn't recall the developer. He expressed hope that this lost game might still exist in Sony's archives, hinting at its significance in gaming history.
The first thing they showed us was that Nintendo Sony PlayStation, like a [working] prototype. And also they had almost finished a game on it and I got to play the game on the system the day I joined.
I wouldn't be surprised if [the game was saved]. You know it was like [on a] CD so yeah.
