The investment amount was undisclosed. Next Ventures backs consumer health and healthcare startups and holds a portfolio that includes Oura, Pair Team, Trial Library, and Outside. BranchLab trains neural networks on deidentified health data from pharma brands, agencies, and publishers to detect patterns linking symptoms or proclivities to medication or treatment responses. The company applies those models to general nonhealth data, such as age, location, and shopping habits, to identify and target likely patient segments using a brand's own CRM data.
