A 29-year-old man was attacked in an unprovoked incident on Fifth Avenue near West 27th Street in Manhattan. The assailant used a sharp object to slash the victim's leg and fled the scene. The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital and is in stable condition. The suspect, described as being in his 40s with a dark complexion, remains at large.
