My Experience as a Designer Working at Bit
Briefly

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Bit, I've experienced a profound shift in collaboration between design and development. Bit’s composable approach allows each project feature to function as an independent component, with clear APIs and live previews. This transparency reduces misunderstandings between technical and non-technical stakeholders, paving the way for designers to independently validate how their designs translate into code. Naming components consistently between design and development ensures everyone shares a common language, enhancing communication and speeding up progress.
Bit has transformed how we collaborate by making development more transparent, modular, and business-aligned.
One of the biggest challenges in software development is bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
