'Back then, if you wanted to vote for a contestant, you were texting to vote. We came up with the idea to turn voting into an app and add second-screen experiences, so it would have the added benefit of keeping people glued during the commercial breaks.'
One of my biggest learnings from that project was about timing and being on the forefront of what technology is going to be emerging. It's something that I've carried and has influenced how I think about other projects since then.
