"JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others," the soon-to-be pope's post read.
"Jesus never speaks of love as something to be rationed. He speaks of love as abundance - a table where there is enough for everyone," author Kat Armas wrote.
The Cardinal's posts were a quiet signal of dissent from the policies of the Trump administration, especially regarding immigration.
