Scott is ceremonially sworn into office by Vice President Kamala Harris in January 2023.
'Our party and our nation are standing at a time for choosing,' Scott said. 'Victimhood or victory? Grievance or greatness? I choose freedom and hope and opportunity.'
After Scott dropped out of the presidential race in November 2023, he would go on to endorse Trump.
