A teenager from Chesapeake, Va., died after he was buried in several feet of sand on Saturday inside a hole that had been dug in a back-dune area at Cape Hatteras National Seashore in North Carolina, officials said.The 17-year-old boy, whose identity had not been released by the authorities, was trapped underground when sand from the adjacent dune collapsed into the hole, the National Park Service said in a statement.
