A small plane, a Learjet 55, crashed in Northeast Philadelphia shortly after takeoff, resulting in residential homes catching fire and chaos in the area. The aircraft, believed to be a medical transport jet, went missing from radar approximately 30 seconds after departing the Northeast Philadelphia Airport.
