Briefly

On Fox News, John Roberts wagered that the stock market would rebound to 50,000 points within a year, following a sharp decline due to new tariffs introduced by President Trump. The morning after Trump's announcement, stock futures plummeted. During the show's discussion, while Roberts expressed philosophical views on market fluctuations, co-anchor Sandra Smith emphasized the dangers facing investors reliant on immediate cash from their investments, especially for those close to retirement. Roberts reiterated advice from his financial planner about maintaining a long-term strategy, even during downturns.
