David Hutchinson, 32, traveled to South Carolina late last year seeking work and potential earnings. He was reported missing on Jan. 12 and later found dead inside a trash can behind an abandoned house in Marion, South Carolina. Marion police are treating the death as a homicide. Family members allege he was lured to the state by a woman who promised work, robbed of money, his phone and barber equipment after being dropped at a trap house, and that a gun was pulled during an altercation when he confronted suspected perpetrators. Authorities spoke with the woman and described her as legitimate; she said she became concerned after not hearing from him.
