Another round of cold air will filter east on Friday and Saturday, and ahead of this Arctic air, cities like New York will get another dusting of snow on Friday, most likely making for slippery commutes, especially in the evening.
High temperatures on Friday across the Plains and down into the South will be 20 to 25 degrees below normal. While not as cold as the Arctic outbreak earlier in the week, it will still be colder than many people in those areas are accustomed to.
