The tragic bus accident east of Vicksburg resulted in the death of seven individuals, including two siblings, a 6-year-old girl and her 16-year-old brother.
The Warren County coroner, Doug Huskey, reported that the cause of death for all seven victims was blunt force trauma, following the overturning of the bus.
Survivors were taken to hospitals for treatment, while the investigation into the cause of the bus deviating from the road remains ongoing.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently conducting inquiries into the crash, seeking to determine the circumstances surrounding the bus's departure from the roadway.
