Wales players were recovering from shock at their hotel in north-east Switzerland after their team bus was involved in an accident with a car en route to a planned training session in St Gallen.

Both Laguerre and Transdev, the bus operator, are named as defendants in the lawsuit. Transdev is accused of "gross negligence" by not supervising or training its employees.

The bus was carrying Pakistani pilgrims traveling from Iran to Iraq for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, one of the largest events in the Shiite religious calendar.

Ada Bicakci, 9, tragically died following a bus collision in Bexley while she and her brother were with a family member. Her organs saved six children.
