Phillips mentioned, "I have been a victim of stalking, and I wasn't told that. I didn't have the right to know. And in most cases, my stalkers made it clear who they were..."
She further illustrated the challenges faced by victims, stating that a lack of knowledge about their stalker can lead to unnecessary anxiety and distrust in their surroundings.
Discussing the case of Nicola Thorp, Phillips shared, "...when you're living through something as harrowing as somebody stalking you... the idea that you have to distrust all of the people around you... just seems like a terrible added burden."
