Virgin Media to freeze mobile and broadband prices for a year as rivals raise costs next month

As various telecom companies in Ireland, including Sky Ireland, Eir, Vodafone, and Three Ireland, plan to increase prices, Virgin Media offers a price freeze for both new and existing broadband and mobile customers. This initiative aims to attract customers by allowing them to lock in prices for a 12-month period without the concerns of hikes. Meanwhile, Netflix also raised its prices last month to support further investments. A marginal increase will still affect a small fraction of Virgin Media customers with older TV packages.

Our price promise means that when you switch to Virgin Media, we won't hike our prices during your offer period, like other providers, so if you sign up for a 12-month offer, you lock in a guaranteed price for 12 months.

As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can re-invest to further improve Netflix.
