On April 29, London experienced a troubling day of gun violence with two separate shootings reported in Forest Gate and Tottenham. The first incident occurred around 2.50 PM in Upton Lane, leading to one gunshot victim and two others sustaining head injuries. Two arrests were made in connection to this shooting. Later, a 17-year-old boy was also shot nearby in Tottenham at about 4 PM. His current condition remains unknown, and no arrests have been made in that case. Authorities continue their investigations into these violent incidents.
Police were first called to reports of gunshots in Upton Lane, near Kitchener Road, just after 2.50pm. One person was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound, while the other two were treated for head injuries.
The gunshot victim has been taken to hospital, where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening. Police arrested two people in connection with the shooting, and one of the two remains in hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
